“I always knew I wanted to be involved in law and the judicial process. In college, I focused on political science and studied the process of law creation. During law school at Texas Tech, I realized I wanted to be in the courtroom. While in law school, I served on law review (a student run legal publication), graduated summa cum laude, and was a member of The Order of the Coif.

Following law school, I worked for several years in civil litigation with a specialized boutique law firm, and I learned to love the courtroom. I then committed some time away from the active practice of law to spend more time with my young children and their needs. Being an entrepreneur, I ran a small bakery-café for several years which allowed me both flexibility to personally raise my children as well as a first-hand experience with small business management and all the legal nuances that accompany business and employee management.

As my children are now older, I have returned to practicing law for several years and have primarily focused on family law and helping clients navigate the complexities that often unexpectedly develop. However, I still enjoy working on civil matters and assisting clients through a variety of legal situations whatever they may be. Seeing a satisfied client is what I always strive for in every case on which I have worked.”
